NAIFA National Staff Reaches out in Their MainStreetUSA Communities to Help Families in Need.
Over the years, NAIFA National has held many different community service projects onsite as well as supported opportunities for staff to participate at local charitable organizations offsite, such as food banks and housing facilities. This past week, NAIFA National staff from Falls Church, Virginia, and Cedar Falls, Iowa, continued this tradition by volunteering for Food for Others food bank and House of Hope.
At the food bank, staff sorted items and packed over 300 snack bags for delivery to local area elementary schools to provide children with nourishment during the weekend. At House of Hope, staff worked together to pack clothing donations and get a one-bedroom apartment ready for a new family to move in. For both community service projects, it was fun to work together and help children and families at the same time.
We are proud that our staff enjoy signing up for community service events that make such a difference in the lives of others. The opportunity for staff to participate as a team in this way is available each calendar quarter, and the community service activities vary.
NAIFA staff are engaged every day in their work to bring value to our members. To also be engaged in service projects that improve the lives of families in our communities aligns well with the work of NAIFA members to secure financial futures for families on MainStreetUSA.
