P+P Volunteer Spotlight: Patricia Anne Martinez
In anticipation for NAIFA's Performance + Purpose 2019 conference, we are excited to highlight the dedicated volunteers who will play an instrumental role in making our conference a success. First up is Secretary for the FL-Broward chapter, Patricia Anne Martinez.
A P+P first-timer, NAIFA member Patricia Anne Martinez, is striving to make the most of her experience. She believes that P+P gives NAIFA members an ample platform for both professional and personal development.
A leader in the NAIFA-Broward chapter, Martinez is committed to giving all P+P attendees a warm welcome to the sunshine state as a volunteer throughout the conference. For Martinez, volunteering at P+P is a form of accelerated learning. She looks forward to interacting with members and leaders from all over the country and various backgrounds.
Martinez believes that all NAIFA members should attend P+P for a multitude of reasons. Her advice for first-time attendees, such as herself, is to not be shy and interact with as many people as possible. “Reach out, introduce yourself, branch out,” Martinez says.
She eagerly awaits the opportunity to form connections with a diverse group of NAIFA members while volunteering at P+P. Throughout the conference, Martinez will serve as a happy hour greeter, hand out program at the general session, and assist with the marketplace book signing.
We are #NAIFAproud of our incredible volunteers and appreciate their commitment to making P+P 2019 a success!
